Mary ‘Joan’ Moore

She was born in Imler, daughter of the late Clyde George and Nellie (Langham) Wright. On Sept. 25, 1959, she married Harry R. Moore in Cumberland, Md. He passed away on Aug. 16, 1982.

Surviving are a daughter, Tammy Moore (Brad) of Blue Knob; a son, Jeffrey Moore, of Williamsburg, S.C.; three grandchildren: Harry, Elisa and Ramesa; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Kelly (Harry) of Greencastle; several nieces and nephews; and very special friends, Rodger (Gail) Strayer, John (Annette) Strayer and Joyce Wright and her family.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Judith Wright and I. Joy Wright.

Joan was a 1957 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School. She worked as a CNA at Blair Christian Home and retired from Elmcroft.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or services. Interment will be at Greenfield Cemetery.
