Kathleen S. Woomer, 91, of Antis Township, died unexpectedly on Saturday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Carl and Rhoda (Dillen) Snyder.
On May 18, 1963, in Tyrone, she married Elmer Richard Woomer Jr. He preceded her in death on June 27, 2013.
Surviving are her daughter, Shannon M. (Woomer) Gunsallus of Antis Township; four grandchildren: Kathleen and Justin Gunsallus, Jewel Marie Weyandt and Landen Estep; two great-grandchildren, Charlie and Bexley; and three sisters: Olive Jones, Carol Fuoss and Jeannine Eyer.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Estep; and son, Elmer R. "Toby" III.
Kathleen enjoyed planting flowers, reading, going out for dinner and especially spending time with Shannon.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood, with Doug Jones officiating. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
