Daniel J. Baughman

He married Kathy (Carothers) Baughman on Oct. 19, 1991. Together they shared 34 wonderful years of marriage.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; brothers-in-law, Donald of Palmyra and Terry and his wife of Orient, Ohio; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, David, and David’s wife.

Daniel proudly served his country as a medic in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Van Zandt VA Medical Center after 33 years of dedicated service.

Known to family and friends as Danny, he enjoyed spending time at Riggles Gap Sportsmans Club, where he was a lifelong member. He also loved taking day trips in any direction and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Danny was a faithful member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.

A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Alto-Reste Park.

Arrangements are by The Good Funeral Home Inc., Altoona.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Danny’s memory to Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
