Charles E. ‘Chuck’ Sweigert

Prior to retirement, Chuck was employed in maintenance by the Kanawha County School District. Chuck was a loving, caring, generous man who never considered anyone a stranger. He enjoyed traveling, boating on the Kanawha River and rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by a brother, Mick Sweigert.

He is survived by his loving partner and companion of more than 28 years, Roxann (Custer) Neisner; Roxann’s son, Donald T. Neisner (Anita); her grandsons, Todd and Samuel Neisner; his brothers, Fred Sweigert (Donna) and Rick Sweigert (Sharon); his dear friend and caregiver, Jennifer Hickman; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in the Mount Hope Community Church, 258 Mount Hope Road, South Fork, with Pastor Justin Rohrbaugh and Pastor John Ciampa co-officiating.

Arrangements are by Hartman-Graziano Funeral Home Inc., Latrobe.
