C. David Lingenfelter

C. David Lingenfelter, 55, of Bakers Summit, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Roaring Spring, a son of the late Charles L. “Cappy” Lingenfelter and Peggy A. (Guyer) Boyd.
He is survived by three children: Allison Clark and husband, Alex, of Bolivia, N.C.; Caplin Lingenfelter of Clappertown; and Sydney Nugent and husband, Dylan, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three grandchildren: Abram, Anders and Archie Clark; and a granddaughter on the way; three siblings: Mark “Cappy” Lingenfelter and wife, Trisha, of Hopewell; Kelly Smith and husband, Kevin, of New Enterprise; and Dana Givler and husband, Bill, of Duncansville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
David was a 1988 graduate of Central High School. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Green Bay Packers, and was instrumental in starting the Panther Youth Football League at Northern Bedford School District.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2026, at Fink & Stone Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Martinsburg, with Pastor Chris Garretson officiating. Private interment at Dry Hill Cemetery.
