Bonnie June Miller, 72, of Sinking Valley, died Tuesday evening at Hilltop Healthcare and Rehab Center, Altoona. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Ralph W. I and Margie L. (McDonald) Overcash.
On Aug. 12, 1972, she married David M. “Mike” Miller in Altoona. He preceded her in death May 31, 2019.
Surviving are her sons, Bernard D. II (Melissa) of Tyrone and Gabriel M. (Giovana) Miller of Sinking Valley; two grandchildren, Brielle and Jaxon; and her brothers, Ralph W. (Ki) Overcash II of Alexandria, Va., and Howard L. (Dee) Overcash of Altoona.
She was a graduate of Altoona Area High School and retired in 2019 from Tyrone Hospital as a medical secretary in the medical records department.
Bonnie was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sinking Valley. Her strong faith was shown by the love of reading her Bible every day.
Bonnie was dedicated to her daily walks, whether in the heat of summer or cold of winter. She also had a love of horses.
Friends will be received from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 2026, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sinking Valley. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, at the church, with Pastor Drew Baker officiating. Interment will be at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
