Wanda J. Hawk

On Dec. 17, 1965, she married Stanley L. Hawk, who preceded her in death.

Wanda is survived by a daughter, Kelly Hawk of Altoona; a son, Stanley L. Hawk Jr. (Tina) of Altoona; stepdaughters: Renee Bankert, Cindy Beauchamp and Leisha Ott; grand-children: Brandon, Ryan, Allison, Hunter and Nichole; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Sheila Lynn Hawk; and a sister, Dorothy.

Wanda was a graduate of Altoona High School and graduated from nursing school.

She retired as marketing director for Silver Leaf Resorts and previously worked as an LPN at Altoona Hospital.

Wanda was a member of First Baptist Church, Altoona, and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home Inc., 2309 Broad Ave., Altoona, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 6 p.m., with Pastor Tyler Pepper officiating.

Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
