Timothy W. Mosel
April 8, 1950 – May 21, 2026
Timothy W. Mosel, 76, of Altoona, died unexpectedly Thursday morning at his residence. He was born in Altoona, a son of the late George K. and Mary (Imler) Mosel.
He married Constance L. Boland on July 9, 1982, in Altoona.
Surviving are his wife, Connie; a son, Timothy W. Mosel Jr. (Sandra) of Williamsburg; two stepsons, Richard M. Holland of Newry and Kristin M. Holland of Duncansville; two grandsons, Jonathan Mosel and Caleb Mosel; two stepgrandchildren, Morgan Holland and Jason Hughes; a step-great-granddaughter, Allyson Hughes; a brother, George K. Mosel (Mary) of Harrisburg; a sister, Connie F. Dengler (Jim) of Hummelstown; and numerous extended family members.
Mr. Mosel attended Second Avenue Global Methodist Church, Altoona.
He was a 1969 graduate of Altoona Area High School.
Tim was the owner/operator of Tim Mosel Painting, from which he retired following 35 years’ service.
He was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State football fan.
He was a life member of the Bavarian Aid Society and a member of the Swiss Club.
Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona, where a funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Interment will be made at Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in care of the funeral home would be appreciated.
