Shirley Ann Claar

Shirley Ann Claar, 81, of Hollidaysburg, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026. She was a daughter of the late George and Hazel (Johnson) Baumgardner.
She is also preceded in death by her first husband, Marlin J. Miller; and son, Marlin J. Miller Jr.
Shirley is survived by her second husband, William S. Claar; daughters, Amy (Fred) Spangler and Brenda Miller; stepchildren: Peg (Joe) Frank, Bill Jr. (Danielle) Claar, Bruce (Amy) Claar, Kelly Jo (Dave) Clark and Brian Hoffman; grandchildren: Jessica, Amber, MJ, Jill, Josie, Vicki and Kaci; 12 great-grandchildren; and many loving stepgrandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Charlotte (Steve) Aungst.
The family would like to thank the staff at PennKnoll Village and Grane Hospice for their love and care towards Shirley.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Miller Funeral Home & Crematory of Somerset.
