Rolley Gene Miller, 96, formerly of Tipton, died Monday morning at Embassy of Huntingdon Park. He was born in Tipton, son of the late Rolley John and Ruby Pearl (Taylor) Miller.

On June 24, 1950, he married Ida K. Cherry at Tipton Baptist Church. She preceded him in death on Oct. 2, 2025.

Surviving are his five children: Dennis G. (Arlene), Vincent L., Robbie W. (Tracy) and David Q. (Valerie), all of Antis Township, and Annette A. (Kevin) Fry of Tyrone; 11 grandchildren; and siblings, Harold of Tipton and Caroline Burk of Antis Township.

He was preceded in death by siblings: Marjorie Endara and Frank “Tom” and Jerry Miller.

Rolley was a 1948 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and retired as a conductor/brakeman at Conrail, Altoona.

He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Bellwood and enjoyed hunting and farming.

Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood; and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2026, at Covenant Community Church, Bellwood. A funeral service, with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with Pastor Lou Hileman officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
