Rodney Allen Snyder, 59, Altoona, passed away Friday morning after complications with liver cancer, which he battled for several years. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Nancy L. Jackson.
Rodney resided in Altoona with his girlfriend, Tina Osborn.
He is survived by a daughter, Brittany Snyder of Prague, Czech Republic; two sons; a brother, Ronald Winters and wife, Lori, of Roaring Spring; sister, Rhonda Flaugh, of Roaring Spring; stepbrother, Tim Jackson and wife, Billie Jo, of Claysburg; and stepsister, Angie Jackson, of Claysburg.
Rodney worked as a mason for many years in Texas. He enjoyed fishing, camping, NASCAR races and the outdoors. He also loved cooking for his family and friends.
He was an active member of Bare Memorial Church of God and loved his church family.
Friends will be received from 4 until the 5 p.m. funeral service Friday, May 22, 2026, at Bare Memorial Church of God, 508 E. Main St., Roaring Spring, with Pastor Steve Debiase officiating.
