Patricia A. “Patti” Hughes, 80, of Altoona, passed away Thursday at Cedarwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Tyrone. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Russell C. and Elsie (Burkhart) Singer.
Surviving are her loving daughter, Lori A. Gaeto, and husband, Bobby; three sisters: Bonnie Singer, Dorthy Jean Heverley and Linda Rowles; brother, Russell Singer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Edwards; and brothers, Gerald “Jerry” Singer and Richard Singer.
Patti was a graduate of Altoona High School, Class of 1964. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, reading, bingo and watching the Steelers. She most of all cherished the time she spent with her family.
A memorial service for immediate friends and family will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., 108 Alto-Reste Park, Altoona, with Pastor James Neatrour.
