Margaret L. (Jones) Richards, 99, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Saturday. She was born in Huntingdon, daughter of the late Harry Sr. and Rachel (Yocum) Jones.
She married Harold E. Richards, who preceded her in death in 2011 after sharing 62 years of marriage.
Surviving is a daughter, Judith A. McIntyre, of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Harry “Casey” Jr. and James Jones.
Peggy graduated from Huntingdon High School in 1944 and retired from Bell Telephone as an operator.
She was a former member of Hunting Chapter 8 Order of the Eastern Star and the Hollidaysburg First United Methodist Church.
Peggy loved reading, cooking and knitting.
There will be no public services at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
Private interment at Mooresville Cemetery.
