Linda R. Boland
March 2, 1938 – May 9, 2026
Linda R. Boland, 88, Hollidaysburg, passed away Saturday evening at her residence. She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Geraldine Bowman.
In 1961, she married Paul W. Boland, who preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 2017.
She is survived by a son, Christopher (Torianne) of York; two grandsons, Justin (Katherine) of New Cumberland and Tyler (Alexa) of Irwin; and five great-grandchildren: Maxwell, Madeline, Emma, Bria and Camden.
Linda was a 1956 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School.
Linda’s whole life revolved around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved sports and attended all her family’s sports events and was a gifted athlete herself.
At Linda’s request, there will be no services.
Arrangements are by Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg.
The family requests that donations in memory of Linda be made to Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA 16602.
