Katherine A. Scipioni, 54, of Altoona, unexpectedly passed away Wednesday evening, May 13, 2026. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2026, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2026, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 806 11th St., Altoona. A complete obituary will appear in Saturday-Sunday’s Mirror.
