Joan C. Orner, 95, Altoona, passed away Saturday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Wilson T. and Velma M. (Hopkins) Hamler. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Orner; a son, Scott Orner; and her twin sister, June Ehgartner. Surviving are a son, Gary D. Orner; and a sister, Patricia Wertz. Joan was a 1948 graduate of Altoona High School and retired as a secretary from Blair Honda. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and visiting with neighborhood friends. At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Altoona.
