David E. Ehredt Jr.

Surviving are his wife, Annette (Pellegrino) Ehredt of Leesburg, Fla.; daughter, Lisa Petit of Land O’ Lakes, Fla.; son, David P. Ehredt of Caldwell, Idaho; granddaughter, Lily, of Boise, Idaho; brothers, Dennis of Ebensburg and Duane of Altoona; sisters, Mary Lou Repsher of Johnstown and Barbara Kyle of Hollidaysburg; and a lifelong friend, Andrew Viglione.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Murray.

Dave was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was also a firefighter for the city of Altoona, which he loved. His fellow firefighters affectionately nicknamed him Bucket Head.

Upon retirement, Dave worked as a forest ranger, furthering his love of the outdoors.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
