Buff L. Mills

She married Gregory L. Mills on Aug. 10, 1974, in Altoona.

Surviving are her husband, Greg; daughters, Amy (Todd) Locke of Millington, Tenn., and Abigail (Derick) Schroeppel of Bartlett, Tenn.; her precious granddaughter, Elizabeth Rose “Ellie” Schroeppel; her mother-in-law, Verna J. Mills of Williamsport; a sister, Lindsey (Nikesh) Patel of Tampa, Fla.; three brothers-in-law: William (Connie) Mills of Williamsport, Brady (Jen) Mills of Berryville, Va., and Michael (Cindy) of Pittsburgh; a sister-in-law, Dana (David) Detwiler of Altoona; and 14 nieces and nephews.

Buff was preceded in death by her infant grandson, Jackson Gregory Schroeppel.

She was a 1973 graduate of Altoona Area High School.

Buff enjoyed traveling to China, Australia, New Zealand, Key West, Fla., all 50 U.S. states and numerous countries on cruises with her family. Recently, she traveled the entire Route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica, Calif.
