Susan Holly O’Connor

Susan is survived by her loving husband, Terrence; two daughters, Heidi Copsey (Brian) and Angela Miller (Justin); two grandchildren, Vincent and Lianna Sprouse; two sisters, Wendy Cornelius (Rodney) and Tracy Chapman (Jeffrey); a brother, Edward Clapper (Christine); and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Scott Clapper.

Susan was a 1978 graduate of Altoona Area High School and was a bank manager for most of her career.

She enjoyed motorcycle rides, camping trips, reading and walking her devoted Dobie, Lexi. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff of UPMC Hillman Cancer Center and her UPMC Family Hospice team (Karen and Heather) for their diligent care.

Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 7 p.m., with Pastor Brian Sandell officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations please be made to Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
