Julia A. Wright

She married Ernest A. Wright Sr. on Jan. 10, 1969. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1991.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Kuzma; son, Ernest Wright Jr.; and daughter, Shannon (Grove) Klein.

Julia is survived by her fiance, Robert Grove; daughters: Denise (Joe) Ott, Tina (Steve) Dumm and Robin (Jeff) Shrum; grandchildren: Kaylee (Tyler) Wagner, Kyle (Cecily) Wright, Emma Dumm, Connor Dumm, Katelyn Klein, Steven Klein and Kimberly Klein; and great-grandchildren, Austin Wagner and Sawyer Wright. Julia is also survived by her sister, Carolyn (Rick) Cannon; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Her death leaves a hole that can never be filled, but her memory will live on.

She enjoyed baking and sharing her goodies, especially her Christmas cookie trays. She also enjoyed camping, bingo and casino trips. Most of all, Julia enjoyed spending time with those she loved.

Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2026, at Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home Inc., Portage.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Portage, with Father Timothy Harris, celebrant. Committal will be private to the immediate family.
