Joseph Woods Davidson

He was born in Cambria County, son of the late Joseph W. and Martha (Thomas) Davidson.

Surviving are his wife, Joan Davidson; sons: Joseph W. Davidson and wife, Marian of Egg Harbor Township, N.J., Jon P. Davidson of Cary, N.C., Todd F. Davidson and wife, Annette of Charlotte, N.C., Joseph Kevin Davidson and wife, Dana of Dallas, N.C., and Jay F. Davidson and wife, Christina of Gastonia; brothers, Ronald E. Davidson of Ebensburg and J. Paul Davidson of Maxton, N.C.; granddaughters: Rosie D. Evans and husband Bryan of Pittsburgh, Ashlee Zingraf of Egg Harbor Township, N.J., and Kylee Davidson of Colorado Springs Colo.; grandsons: Connor Davidson of Charlotte, N.C., Dylan Davidson of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Trevor Davidson and fiancee, Maddie, of Durham, N.C.; and great-grandchildren, Landon and Logan.

In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his son, Rick P. Davidson; a brother, Donald R. Davidson; a granddaughter, Shana Davidson; and a daughter-in-law, Sue Davidson.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. today, April 27, 2026, at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel, Gastonia, N.C. A private graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Belmont, N.C.
