JoAlana “Jody” Kuhn, 80, of Bellefonte, formerly of Altoona, passed away Sunday morning at Centre Care Rehabilitation, State College. She was born in Huntingdon, daughter of the late Allen L. and Edith I. (Karle) Beaver.
Jody married William L. Kuhn on Oct. 3, 1964.
She is survived by her loving husband; her son, David A. Kuhn (Michelle) of Bellefonte; her daughter, Billie Jo Kuhn (Danette Petersen) of Oshawa-Ontario, Canada; six grandchildren: Adam, Aubrey, Garrett, Gavin, Taylor and Cameron; and two great-grandchildren, Elora and Elaina.
Jody was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Beaver; and sister, Peggy Bishop.
She was a 1963 graduate of Altoona High School.
Jody retired from retail sales with Eckerd Drug Store and Gardners Candies.
She was a member of Second Avenue Global Methodist Church.
Jody enjoyed reading, watching soap operas and Penn State sports, going on cruises and especially watching her grandchildren’s sporting events.
Friends will be received from noon until 2 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2026, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in the Stevens Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Brian Sandell officiating.
Interment will be held at Blair Memorial Park.
