Danielle ‘Dani’ Hatfield

In addition to her mother, Dani is survived by her loving husband, William Hatfield, whom she married on Nov. 9, 1996, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Altoona; her daughter, Hannah Hatfield, of Altoona; a stepson, Billy Hatfield, of Altoona; her siblings: Howard (Gina), Christian (Wendy), John (Stacey), Mark (Misty), Shawn (Tracey) and John (Stacey); and a grandchild. Dani loved her aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Dani was preceded in death by her loving father, Howard; as well as a sister-in-law, Misty.

Dani was Catholic by faith and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, where she married William.

She worked at First Commonwealth Bank and enjoyed her coworkers and the customers that would come in.

Dani was a caring and thoughtful person who always put the people she loved first. More than anything in this world, she loved her daughter, Hannah.

She was strong and faced every challenge head on.

Dani loved cooking, making her home beautiful, and taking care of the people around her. She had a laugh that could light up a room; that laugh is something no one who knew her will ever forget.

Family and friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Santella Funeral Home, 1106 Eighth Ave., Altoona, with a prayer vigil taking place.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2026, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 806 11th Street, Altoona, with interment taking place at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
