Andrew E. Lesko, 85, Hollidaysburg, passed away peacefully Thursday morning at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Joseph and Alice (Balogh) Lesko.
He is survived by his wife, Carole A. (Miller) of Hollidaysburg; a son, Andrew Jr. (Katherine) of New Freedom; two grandchildren, Ben (Alicia) of Harrisburg and Elizabeth of Philadelphia; and a sister, Barbara Meany of Denver, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Strohm, who passed in 1979; and his son, Paul, who passed in 2025.
Andrew was a 1958 graduate of Altoona High School. He retired in 2002 as a mechanic and electrician for the Fonda Group. He also worked as an electrical inspector for Atlantic Inland and as an independent electrical contractor.
Andrew was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hollidaysburg, Bavarian Aid Society and the Heidelberg Country Club. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting, bowling, photography and travel.
A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg.
Interment will be at New Canoe Creek Cemetery.
