The Rev. Terence ‘Terry’ Henry TOR
The Rev. Terence “Terry” Henry TOR, a member of the Franciscan Friars of the Third Order Regular, Province of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, was called home to the Lord on March 14, 2026, at the age of 77. Father Terry was born in Philadelphia, and is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Sara “Sally” (Fitzpatrick) Henry.
He is survived by his brother, Thomas “Tuk” (wife, Terri) Henry; sister, Kathy (husband, Bud) Dawson; sister, Margie (husband, John) Jenkins; friends; and his Franciscan community. Father Terry was also a beloved uncle and great-uncle to all of his nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Saint Francis Friary at Mount Assisi in Loretto. A vigil prayer service will be held at 7 p.m.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2026, at Saint Francis Friary, with the Very Rev. Joseph Lehman TOR, as principal celebrant. After the Mass, interment will take place at the Franciscan Friars’ Cemetery on the campus of Saint Francis University, Loretto.
