Sister Mary Elizabeth Guidry SSCJ, 76, a perpetually professed Sister of the Congregation of Sister Servants of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, entered into eternal life on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, after 44 years of religious life.
A viewing for Sister Mary Elizabeth will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 12, 2026, at John Paul II Manor, 856 Cambria St., Cresson, where funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church, 211 Powell Ave., Cresson. Committal will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Cresson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sister Servants of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, 866 Cambria St., Cresson, PA 16630.
