Shirley Feathers, 88, of Claysburg, passed away Saturday at home. She was born in Claysburg, daughter of the late Elmer Feathers and Kathryn (Feathers) Seymour.
Surviving are five children: Penny Jo Clayton (George), Kathy Feathers, Cindy Lou Eslick, Della M. Feathers and Charles B. Feathers (Melissa); eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Markeeta Thompson; and two brothers, Wilford "Buddy" Seymour and Galen Seymour.
She was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Charles B. Weyandt; a daughter, Paula S. Feathers; two sisters, Doris Ruth Ritchey and Maggie Ody; three brothers: Kenny Feathers, Shannon Feathers and William Seymour Jr.; and three grandchildren.
Shirley was a homemaker and enjoyed tending to her flowers, reading, puzzles, picking berries, sewing, going to yard sales and spending time with her family.
Friends will be received from noon until the 4 p.m. funeral service Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, with Pastor James Neatrour officiating. Interment at Upper Claar Cemetery.
