Robert G. Gee
July 20, 1940 – March 13, 2026
Robert G. Gee, 85, of Altoona, passed away Friday at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. He was born in Shelbyville, Tenn., son of the late James and Ruth (McBee) Gee. He married Marilyn Robison in 1961.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years; a daughter, Mandy Dell and husband, Willis, of Hollidaysburg; a granddaughter, Abby; siblings, Patricia Gillette and Dwight Gee; his favorite aunt, Lillian McCullough; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Choate.
Bob served in the US Army in Panama.
He retired from Fannie Farmer Candies, owned the Kirby distributorship in Bedford, then worked at Courtesy Ford.
Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.
Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 2 p.m.
