Robert F. Hmel, 89, Mesa, Ariz., entered into eternal life Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026. He was born and raised in Altoona, son of Ruth Hmel and much-loved grandson of Frank and Gertrude Yeager.
Surviving are his significant other of 34 years, Carole Davis; and his beloved “stepson,” Dennis Gibbons.
Robert was a 1955 graduate of Altoona High School and enjoyed buying and selling antiques.
At his request, there will be no service.
