Lisa Ann Stouffer

cancer. Lisa was born in Altoona to the late Beverly (Wertz) Green and Jerry Stouffer of Tyrone, who survives.

Lisa was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and carried a zest for life that was cherished by all who knew her. She had a deep love for animals, especially horses, and shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Sheba.

Surviving are sisters, Andrea (Kit) Stapleton of Warrenton, Va., and Carla Keith of Osceola Mills; stepsiblings, Harold Mately (Heidi) of Bellwood and Brenda Staymates of Tyrone; nieces and nephew: Michelle (Joseph), Andrew (Alaina), Nicole and Danielle; several cousins; and many lifelong friends.

She was preceded in death by an aunt, Cathy Stapleton; and her stepmother, Melinda Stouffer.

She was fiercely loyal and loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

There will be no public viewing or service. A private gathering will be held at the convenience of the family.
