Jacob James Carper Jr.

Jacob James Carper Jr., 85, of Loysburg, died Saturday. He was born in Bakers Summit, son of the late Jacob J. Sr. and Hazel (Helsel) Carper. His sister, Betty Hartman, preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife, Agnes; children: Eric Carper, Bernice Engler and Tracy Carper; his grandchildren; and siblings, Bonnie Flurie and Barry Carper. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Woodbury Church of the Brethren; and from 10 until the 11 a.m. service Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the church. Arrangements are by Fink & Stone Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Woodbury.
