Harry S. Weddle Jr.

Oct. 28, 1941 – March 16, 2026

Harry S. Weddle Jr., 84, of Bellwood, passed away Monday afternoon at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Frederick, Md., a son of the late Harry Sr. and Catherine (McGuire) Weddle.

On June 17, 1966, he married Sandra Bible.

Surviving are his wife; children, Julie (Frank) White and David Weddle, both of Bellwood; his grandchildren: Ryan (Julia) White, Elizabeth (Brennen) McCracken and Alison (Cameron) Weddle; great-grandchildren, Parker and Evelyn McCracken; sisters, Ann Leatherman and Susan Malloy; a brother, Michael Weddle; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers, James and Christopher Weddle.

In 2006, Harry retired as a route man and catering coordinator at CRH Vending and Catering, Bellwood, after 21 years of service. He was previously employed at Shop-N-Save in Cresson.

Harry attended Tipton Baptist Church.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, watching sports and playing bingo.

His greatest joy was his family, and he especially loved spending time with them at the lake house in North Carolina.

The family would like to thank Davita Tyrone for lovingly caring for Harry over the past nine years. Harry considered their staff as part of his family.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026, and from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, March 20, 2026, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at noon Friday at the funeral home, with Pastors Jason Mauk and John Pine officiating.

Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.

The family suggests that contributions in Harry’s memory be made to a charity of your individual choice.
