David J. Christen, 60, of East Freedom, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday after an extended illness. He was born in Alliance, Ohio, a son of Marilyn (Oyster) and the late Robert Christen.
He married Lee Ann McIntyre in 2005.
Surviving are his wife of 20 years; his mother; and brother, Mark, and wife, Charlene, all in Minerva, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Scott, in Minerva, Ohio.
Dave was a graduate of Minerva High School and obtained his B.S. at Grace College in Winona Lake, Ind.
He worked at Park Hills Country Club, CSTU and Ebensburg Center.
Dave was a lifetime attendee of Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church.
He loved playing golf and watching Ohio State sports, especially football.
Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2026, at Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church, with Pastor Brian McCall, officiating.
Private interment at Alto-Reste Park.
Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
