Andrew J. Wolford, 23, of Altoona, passed away Saturday after an automobile accident. He was born in Altoona, son of Thomas and Teresa (Mielnik) Wolford.
Surviving are his daughter, Haven; and her mother, Kamryn; his parents of Altoona; biological father, Patrick Bailor; grand-parents: Mike and Betty Wolford and Mark and Karen Mielnik; three sisters: Lillian, Isabelle and Makayla; a half-sister, Mallory; and two brothers, Joshua and David.
He was a 2021 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and worked as a forklift operator at Walmart Distribution Center.
Andrew enjoyed time with his family -- especially his daughter -- hunting, sports and soccer.
He shifted the atmosphere in the room and had the gift of making people smile and laugh.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Center City Church, Altoona, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 4 p.m., with Pastor Mark Mielnik Jr. officiating.
Private interment will be at Alto-Reste Park.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the family.
