Wanda L. (Lovell) Notestine, 91, a resident of Hollidaysburg Veterans Home, died Sunday evening, Feb. 22, 2026, at the home. She was born in Altman, daughter of the late James and Elverda (Edmiston) Bennett.
On June 21, 1952, she married Wilson E. "Bud" Lovell, who preceded her in death in 1984.
She later married Harry Richard Notestine on April 10, 1985. He died Nov. 18, 2025.
Wanda is survived by her daughters, Sherry L. Lovell of Mesa, Ariz., and Carol A. (Harlan) Cox of Bel Air, Md.; grandchildren: Ashley Lewis in Arizona, Sam (Stephanie) Lewis in Montana, Brandy Lovell in Pennsylvania, Allison (Jim) Dillard in Nevada and Adam Cox in Maryland; and great-grandchildren, Stella and Leif Dillard.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vickie K. Harris; an infant sister, Sylvia; and brother, Richard James Bennett.
Wanda was a graduate of Altoona Beauty School. She retired as owner and operator of Tyrone Beauty Salon, also providing services to residents of Epworth Manor, serving her clients for more than 30 years.
Wanda was a member of Tyrone Alliance Church and Altoona Jobel Court No. 11 of Ladies' Oriental Shrine of North America.
She enjoyed camping, traveling, reading, crocheting and gardening.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until noon on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Tyrone Alliance Church. A funeral service will be held at noon Monday at the church, with Pastor Carl Schmidt officiating. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
