Theodore ‘Ted’ Holobinko

Theodore “Ted” Holobinko, 94, of Houtzdale, passed away Friday, Jan. 30, 2026. He was a son of the late Harry and Mary (Russian) Holobinko. He served with the United States Air Force during the Korean War. On Nov. 17, 1956, he married Jean (Sternesky) Holobinko, who preceded him in death. Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Lang (Kevin); and son, Eugene. Family and friends will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, at Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home Inc., Houtzdale. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, at Christ the King Catholic Church, Houtzdale.
