Shelda Jean Fink

Shelda was a cherished mother to Steven (Carol) Massaro of Martinsburg, Darlene (Scott) MacDonald of Virginia Beach, John Massaro Jr. of Altoona and Bruce (Kelley) Massaro of Altoona; and loving grandmother to Jeremy Chaplin, Brinley Finch, Gunner MacDonald, Thor MacDonald, Brian Massaro, Mara Massaro, Teia Massaro and Jena Everhart. She had 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ryan Mark Fink, on Jan. 27, 2026.

She was a 1959 graduate of Altoona High School. Shelda had worked for many years as an inspector at the Sylvania Plant in Altoona. She loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and Nittany Lions and she cheered on Denny Hamlin in NASCAR. Known for her loving and kind nature, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. out of Mass service Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, at Derman Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone, Father Michael Pleva officiating.
