Randy Forrest Diehl, 69, Altoona, passed away peacefully on Tuesday at UPMC Altoona. He was a retiree from Lawrence Livermore National Labor­atory, Livermore, Calif.

Randy was born in Chicago, Ill., the son of the late Forrest B. and Grace H. (Ziebold) Diehl.

He attended Altoona Area High School.

Surviving are his wife, Kim; his son, Randy W. Diehl; two granddaughters; a brother, Forrest Diehl Jr.; and his sister, Lora Diehl, both of Altoona; and sisters: Grace Colarusso and Judy Nash of Scranton and Gale Cooke in West Virginia.

Randy enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors.

There will be no visitation or services.
