Mary L. Heverly

Surviving are three sisters: Cheryl A. Helsel of Hollidaysburg, Darlene M. Dalby (Dan Caracciolo) of Duncansville and Susan A. Ciccarella of Altoona; and numerous extended family members.

Mrs. Heverly was a member of First Baptist Church, Altoona.

She was a 1974 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Mary was employed for many years in the manufacturing sector.

She enjoyed playing cards, singing Karaoke — especially at the local Blair Senior Services Center — and she was a lover of all animals, especially cats.

Mary was a member of the Newburg Fire Hall Association.

Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona, where a memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. with Pastor Tyler Pepper officiating.

Interment will be made at a later date at New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in memory of Mary please be made to Mending Hearts Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 97, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648; or to Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
