Gipprich

Kenneth J. Gipprich, 75, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026, after a courageous year-long battle with cancer, cholangiocarcinoma. While there never feels like enough time, Ken lived a long life overflowing with love, devotion and quiet strength.

Ken was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather whose world revolved around his family. For 51 beautiful years, he shared a deep and enduring love with his wife, Amy, building a life rooted in commitment, laughter and unwavering support. Together, they raised two daughters, Brandi (Earl) and Courtney.

Nothing brought Ken more joy than being a grandfather. He adored his grandchildren, Makala (Blayz), Mackenzie, Lauren (Beau) and Gregory, and took immense pride in watching them grow. Becoming a great-grandfather to Oliver was a special joy, one that filled his heart with even more love and happiness. By his side through it all was his loyal and beloved dog, Harper, a constant source of comfort and companionship.

Ken was a beautiful soul — hardworking, genuine and deeply caring. He had a way of making people happy through simple gestures, sarcastic humor or just being present when it mattered most. His strength, especially throughout his illness, was matched only by his grace and selflessness. Even in difficult moments, his concern was always for others.

Ken’s legacy lives on in the family he cherished so deeply and in the many lives he touched along the way. He will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Central PA Humane Society in his memory.
