Forrest "Bud" Moyer, 92, of Duncansville, passed away Wednesday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Alvin and Virginia (Confer) Moyer. Surviving are his wife of 71 years, Doris; sons: Alvin (Mary Ann), Dave (Raquel) and Bill (Jenifer); and granddaughters: Samantha Wills, Alex Hoffman and Grace Magaha. Bud was a 1952 graduate of Fork Union Military Academy and enlisted in the Army after graduation. After two years of service, he returned to Altoona and began working for Moyer Brothers, leading to a decades-long career. All services are private at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
