Doris M. (Mahute) Terza, 77, of Altoona, passed away Wednesday. She was born in Madera, daughter of the late George and Mae (Richardson) Mahute.
She married Robert Terza in 1969.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years; two sons, Joseph (Beckey) and Justin; two grandchildren, Joshua and Caleb; and two sisters, Linda Kutruff and Kathy Kephart.
She was preceded in death by her brother, George Jr.; and her two sisters, Helen Witherow and Frances Mahute.Doris received her associate's degree in legal studies from Penn State.
She was a devoted housewife and attended the United Methodist Church.
Doris was intelligent and sensible, full of grace and kindness, always seeing the best in people. She had a great sense of class and style and passed those traits to her beloved sons and grandsons. Doris was affectionately labeled as "Feisty" by hospitalists and skilled nursing staff even as our Heavenly Father recruited her to come Home.
At the request of the family, there will be no public services.
