Donna Marie (Roach) Riley, 92, Hollidaysburg, died Friday evening at Garvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg. She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late John E. Roach.
Donna married James R. Riley on Jan. 2, 1952, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hollidaysburg, where they were lifelong members. Jim died on Jan. 24, 1995, after 43 years of marriage.
She was also preceded in death by their daughter, Deborah A. Fouse, in 2004; their son, David John, in 2008; as well as her sister, Jo Ann Grubb.
She is survived by their daughter, Cynthia L. Dunklebarger (Terry); son, Michael J. (Deborah); seven grandchildren: Rebecca Fouse Eng (Dave), Jason Fouse (Erin), Shawn Clark, Aaron Riley (Paige), Sara Riley, Danielle Riley Springer and Sawyer Riley; stepgranddaughter, Heather McKinney (Jimmie); 16 great-grandchildren: Alison, Benjamin, Giovanna, Vincent, Natalia, Dominic, Cameron, Toni, Ryker, Phoenix, Roderick, Theodora, Sage, Adison, Jaxon and Waylon; five step-great-grandchildren: Connor, Amelia, Tatum, Noah and Ava; and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Donna attended St. Mary Catholic School through eighth grade and graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1951. She attended Mount Aloysius College.
Donna retired as the intake supervisor from the Blair County Juvenile Probation Office in 1995, after 26 years of service.
She served on the advisory board for Pennsylvania State Parole and Probation and on the Police Commission for Logan Township. She was a past member of the Pennsylvania Association of Parole Probation and Corrections, the Pennsylvania Prison Wardens Auxiliary and Blair County Law Enforcement Association. Both she and her husband served on the advisory board for the Family Life Bureau of the Altoona-Johnstown Diocese.
Donna loved spending time with her family and friends, as well as her extended family. She enjoyed summer concerts, gardening, decorating and the beach at Cape May. She also enjoyed all sports, especially Penn State and Steelers football. One of her special times was attending Steelers training camp, where she participated in many of the training exercises with retired and current Steelers team members.
Friends will be received from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, at Plank, Stitt and Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg.
A funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg.
