Clinton E. “Clint” Leipold, 59, of Altoona, passed away Monday. He was a son of the late Edward Jr. and Carol (Grassi) Leipold.
He was preceded in death by three aunts: Diana (Grassi) Stitt, Judith Sanders and Susan Cullen.
Clint is survived by three aunts: Carmel Hicks, Linda Knorr and Elizabeth (Kent) Shade; and numerous cousins.
He was a 1984 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School.
Clint was a talented cook, spending most of his adult life in food service, and was formerly employed at Maybrook Hills and most recently worked at Taps on 2nd Tavern & Grill.
He was a long-time parishioner of St. Marks Catholic Church, where he volunteered as an usher in his younger days.
Clint was a member of the Bavarian Aid Society and enjoyed listening to and collecting hard rock music. Clint was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, a frequent contributor to local sports talk shows and was always willing to voice his opinion.
His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A service will be held at a date to be determined.
