Charles R. Chipperfield Jr.

Charles R. Chipperfield Jr., 85, of Altoona, passed away Friday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Charles Sr. and Naomi (Quenzler) Chipperfield. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; children: Charles III, Beth Ellen and Faith; and sisters: Phyllis Scott, Elizabeth Arsenault and Sharon Johnson. Surviving are children: Timothy, Todd, Hope, Edward, Charity Baer and Robert Mesmer; many grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley Halfpenny. Friends will be received from 2 until the 4 p.m. service Monday, March 2, 2026, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
