Blair S. Hanna

Blair S. Hanna, 90, of Antis Township, died late Monday evening at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Bellwood, a son of the late Charles E. and Florence E. (Hostler) Hanna.

On Jan. 28, 1956, at Tyrone Church of the Brethren, he married Mary C. "Kay" Snyder, and they recently celebrated 70 years of marriage.

Blair is survived by his beloved wife; his two sons, Blair S. Jr. and Jeffrey L. (Marianne); five grand­children: Mark T. (Lesli), Joshua L. (Stephanie), Adam J. (Amanda), Chad F. (Des) and Emily N. Hanna; and 10 great-grandchildren: Zachary, Kaydence, Ollie, Colton, Isabelle, Indiana, Pearl, Ruby, Maren and Cole.

He was preceded in death by siblings: Paul E. Hanna, Anna Mary Shaw and Helen Taverniti.

Blair was a 1953 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School. In 1995, he retired as transportation manager at Conrail Juniata Shops after 43 years of dedicated service.

He was a member of Bellwood Cross of Calvary.

Blair was active with the Boy Scouts and Troop 29 of Bellwood. He enjoyed woodworking, vegetable gardening and doing yard work.

Blair's greatest joy was time spent with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood; and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, at Bellwood Cross of Calvary. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with Norm Saylor officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.

The family suggests that contributions in Blair's memory be made to Bellwood Cross of Calvary.
