Anthony Richard Bucher

Anthony Richard Bucher, 68, of Lewisberry, formerly of Altoona, died Saturday at his home after a valiant battle with Alzheimer’s. He was born in Altoona, to the late Richard E. and Rita A. (Porta) Bucher. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte Benson. Surviving are his husband, Jerry Groft ; siblings, Catherine Bradfield (Larry) and Tom J. Bucher (Angela), both of Altoona; several nieces and nephews; and hometown friends: Becky, Sue, MaryAnn, and Vicky. Services are being planned for a later date. Arrangements are by Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., New Cumberland, Pa.
