Sarah "Sally" Bearer, 91, Carrolltown, died Tuesday. She was born in Spangler, daughter of the late Griffith and Vernita Bloom. Sally was also preceded in death by her husband, Benno "Ben"; and six siblings. She is survived by children: Kathy Samay, Benno Jr., Mary Ann Moore and Don "Duck" Bearer; sister, Ann Goodwin; and many randchildren. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, at Stevens Funeral Home, 146 N. Main St., Carrolltown, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Additional visitation from 9 until the 10 a.m. funeral Mass Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown.
