Patrick J. Sweeney Sr., 78, Portage, died Thursday. He was born in Johnstown. Surviving are his wife, Donna M. (Sinclair); their children: Rebecca and Patrick Jr.; and two grandchildren, Alanna and Nola. He was a U.S. Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient.
