Nancy J. Riley, 75, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday evening at her home after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Huntingdon, daughter of the late Donald L. and Bridget B. Schucker.
Nancy was married to Richard A. Riley, who preceded her in death.
Nancy had three sons: David S., Jason A. and Dustin W. Riley, all of whom preceded her in death.
She is survived by a daughter, Bridget Sorichetti, of Altoona; three grandchildren: Kyla N., Tyler W. Riley and Rowen R. Sorichetti, all of Altoona; and a sister, Barb Geist, of Altoona.
Nancy was an amazing mother and grandmother. She was an exceptional nurse (retired), and without a doubt, a one of a kind sister. She was resilient, strong and intelligent. Nancy knew a little bit about everything and if not, she figured it out. She loved great bargains, decorating and yard sales.
As per her request, there will be no memorial services.
